Black Ops 2 – Everything You’ve Been Hoping For
With the Black Ops 2 website having officially gone live on May 1st, the question on everyone’s minds is; ‘Will Black Ops 2 live up to the huge success of its predecessor?’
Amazon have announced that pre-orders of Black Ops 2 have already tripled, yes you head right.. TRIPLED, the pre-order sales of the original Black Ops game that was released late 2010. So what does that mean? That means Black Ops 2 is going to be massive!
“Bolder and better than before and with everything from a futuristic storyline through to single play mode, Zombies and multiplayer, Black Ops II promises something Call of Duty fans have never seen before” – Treyarch.
Is Black Ops 2 really going to be better than the original?
Well, if you liked the original then you’ve definitely got a lot to look forward to. Treyarch always look to bring something new to the Call of Duty series, from World War 2 to Cuba and then to Vietnam, they never stick to their comfort zone. And of course, with Black Ops 2 being set in the future, there is no doubt that the game will bring gamers a whole new way to play Call of Duty.
What about Zombies?
I had to bring this up seeing as it’s the thing I have loved most about Treyarch. If you’re like me then you’re going to be even happier. With the release of Black Ops 2 you are going to be greeted with 8 player Zombies. That’s right, you and 7 other players are going to be able to battle you’re way through thousands of zombies. Check out this quote directly from Mark Lamia, the head of Treyarch studio.
“They want bigger maps. They want even more interesting things to do inside these levels. So we are crafting new worlds, creating new game modes and bigger worlds. We’ve actually put [zombies] inside of our multiplayer engine and it’s capable of doing twice as many zombies, twice as many co-op players.”
When can you get it?
Call of Duty Black Ops 2 will be released on all major consoles on November 13 2012.
