Turtle Beach Releasing MW3 Headsets with Custom Audio Presets

Turtle Beach Releasing MW3 Headsets with Custom Audio Presets

Edit – 03/09/11: You can now find these at Amazon.

Turtle Beach who are already famous for their high quality gaming headsets have managed to obtain the exclusive license for COD MW3 headsets and it seems they are going to make the most of that privilege.

Ahead of the Modern Warfare 3 release (Nov 8th), Turtle Beach will be bringing out not just one, but four MW3-styled headsets sometime in October. Each of the headsets will come with a different price-tag ranging from $100 to a much higher price tag of $300 (a bit much for me..), with supposedly the main differences being the custom MW3 presets they come with. The Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer teams have designed these presets so we’re expecting them to make a huge affect to how well you play. For example, if your going for the ninja build then you could use a preset that makes it much easier to hear footsteps.

For $300 you can get the Ear Force Delta which will include a wireless headset with Bluetooth Chat and XBA adapter for Xbox 360, a MW3 case and the audio presets. For half that price at $150 there is the Bravo Wireless headset which will be shipped the same audio presets (dont ask why the Delta is double the price). At $130 you can get the Charlie wired headset which is focused for PC users but has no mention of the custom audio presets. And finally the cheapest of the four at $100, is the Foxtrot headset which we’re guessing will only have the most basic of features included.

  2. I wouldn’t mind buying a pair. I’ve heard wearing the headsets you can hear enemies coming around the corner and be prepared to kill them.

  3. Hmmm ok why not just sell hacks for the game instead. Sounds to me like they are trying to sell an unfair advantage to people with deeper pockets anyways.

  4. This is soooooooooo fake their just trying to sell normal or (or worse than normal) headsets it’s gonna be 300 bucks and its not gonna have all the presets and stuff. Nobody should even think about buying this it’s a total scam.
