MW3 Prestige Shop – Finally A Real Incentive To Prestige
Yet another feature which was briefly shown at Call of Duty XP is the brand new ‘MW3 Prestige Shop‘.
No specific details have been announced or discussed but we have managed to find a screenshot (sorry, it’s a little blurry) showing various rewards that you can choose from each time you prestige.
MW3 Prestige Shop Menu:

- Double XP
- Double Weapon XP
- Unlock Gear
- Challenges 1
- Challenges 2
- Challenges 3
- Title and Emblem 1
- Title and Emblem 2
- Title and Emblem 3
As you can see, finally Infinity Ward have given us an incentive to battle our way through countless prestiges. We’re extremely pleased to see this new feature and are especially interested in the ‘Reset All Stats’ reward. No more will our stats have to forever suffer thanks to that first week when we didn’t have a clue what we were doing.
Maximum level in MW3 will be 80 but we are yet to know how many prestiges there will be (we’re guessing 10 due to the image stating only 10 prestige tokens are available). Stay tuned at MW3 Elite for new updates.
since hes already unlocked something and theres 11 items available i think that you get a prestige token for every level 80 you get to cause you get there 11 times if theres 10 prestiges
yeah and there’s a reset all stats so on first sight i would think that you can start over. if what you say is true. and if there’s 10 prestige’s then it would save people from being bored at tenth.

there could be 15 because might have to unlock each ‘create-a-class’ like the rest of the CoDs

i wonder if the double xp stays for all prestiges and if so i would get that first! and imagine having 2 xp on a 2 xp weekend quad xp!!!
from what i have read double weapon and double xp only last for two hours of in game play
its only for 4 hours. how do u get more tokens
2 hours double xp and/or 2 hours weapons xp
Although this is an awesome incentive to Prestige, I Prestiged through all previous levels of COD because I’m not a n00b.

See these remarks are asinine, some people have full time jobs, kids to raise and a life to live. just because we decide we do not have enough time to rank up does not mean we are noobs. In Bo i got to first pres, and that took me forever because i am not on it enough to level up.
i will add, if the xp benefit is done right i might be able to get some pres under my belt instead of being stuck at second prestige.
will in mw2 i was about to get to prestige 10 and then suddenly some damn person hacked my account so i decided to make a new account and prestige it , so don’t say i didnt get prestige 10 because i let someone hack , because with all the misery about losing all that hard work made me hack it
Cool i think having exp benefits for prestiging is one of the best ideas yet, that and everything else is good too.
i dont think you’ll be able to use these over and over.. maybe if you prestige then whatever you use can only be used while you’re in that prestige.. so i’d save that ‘reset’ one til a couple down the line.. and the xp one early to burn ahead

Well think of this, they said when you reset your stats, you COMPLETELY restart, so I would think it sets you back to ground zero (being able to do any of the rest). I do believe you can choose one per prestige though and it does last that prestige. They’re offering double XP, but you’ll be able to pick that every time, although losing the opportunity for the rest of the options. So, I think you could use them over and over, but of course just one. They wouldn’t limit something like the extra custom class to just one for the rest of the time you ever play MW3 when it’s always given you up to 5 extra.
but that wouldnt work for the titles and emblems, being only able to use them for 1 prestiege?
They should remove the Reset all stats thing..
Yea…think about it guys. there are 10 prestiges but 11 tokens. do the math you can only use 10 of those tokens. think about what happens when you normally enter a prestige, you either get a extra custom class, title/emblem, golden camo, etc. you cant enter 11th prestige after 10th. IW will make you choose 10/11. Secondly, the Double xp will not be forever. Watch, I bet you itll just be for that prestige. same thing with Unlock Gear. Why would IW let anyone have build up all the prestige perks throughout the prestiges? its one time use guys. and i seriously doubt there will be 15 prestiges to accommodate for the other custom classes. there are 6 classes for a reason think about it…
I’d replied earlier to someone about they wouldn’t be sacrificing the original 10 custom classes for just a max of 6, but going by what you said makes more sense when I think of the added create-a-class concepts. An entire strike package set individually for each class should definitely be limited. So I agree with you.
unlock gear keeps 1 thing with no upgrades in all prestiges
the xp last for 2hrs and the unlock gear does stay when you prestige
the xp is 2 hours and the unlock gears stay when you prestige smart one
actually if you think about there is 11 prestige because if you think about it some people don’t prestige the first time.
COD WAW= 65*11
MW2= 70*11
BO= 50*16
I’ve never bothered entering prestige mode in previous games because it seemed pointless. But This time I am unsure, I will probably prestige once and reset my stats. But basically I don’t like going into prestige because you loose all progress with your guns.
Prestige mode is not pointless, its for those who enjoy having challenge in their games. Not for people who can go to the end and have nothing else to accomplish and stay satisfied with the game..
im probably gonna prestige once, so i unlock prestige challanges, and have an extra slot and a lot of time to unlock stuff

I think the Double XP will be like a timed thing, for example, each day you get 1 or 2 hours of double XP for your fave gun, if you don’t use that gun, then the timer stops, just like the challenges on Black Ops
How they gonna put reset stats thats just wack
With the reset all stat option it puts you at rank 1 prestige 0 but it doesn’t reset your overall kills and deaths wins and losses just the ones it currently shows and it will show on your record how many times you prestige even if you reach the final prestige max rank and choose the option to reset…honestly that’s the best thing they ever put into these games cuz people lose interest after reaching that point

I thought it reset your kd and wl so if you are noobishly at first you can put in what you really deserve later
I think this will be like,
Custom class: 5 tokens for 5 classes
Double xp: as many tokens as prestiges, (double xp lasts whole
Prestige)
Double weapon xp: same as double xp
Reset all stats: infinite
Challenges 1,2,3: 1 of each for challenges for xp through prestiges
Unlock gear: as many as prestiges.
Titles and emblems 1,2,3: 1 of each for cool emblems and titles
I will probably get (in order) challenges, custom classes, titles and emblems, and lastly unlock gear so I have it in my last prestige. I probably won’t reset my stats I have never been max rank, I played all cod but not often, below mw2 is no prestige, mw2 is 1st, black ops I started in may I am 9th. So I’m not a high level guy. I’m getting mw3 right away though so that should mean I could probably get to the highest prestige no problem.
Double xp and double weapon xp is for two hours.
Unlock equipment is for all future prestiges.
Its a good idea to unlock the challenges and titles and emblems early so that you can level up faster in future prestiges.
You get one prestige token for each previous cod game you prestiged in (the last 3 games). which means i will have 3 once i prestige because i prestiged in blops and mw2.

what the hell is hardend and vetran packeges?? p.s you can use more then 1 token on 1 prestege (eg if you have played cod4 to cod 7 you will have 3 tokens. you can use these 3 tokens all for extra classes if you want). the dobble wepon and dobble xp onlly last 2 hours and are onlly worth it on a dobble xp weekend becuse if u dobble dobble it = x4

Hey guys for those of you who havent figured it out i would suggest getting custom classes, i am 2nd prestige and i have 10 custom classes(from my 1st prestige token and prestiging in all prefvious games) soooo custom classes is the way to go!
but what about carrying something over?
thats what i have done along with the classes and i like it best.
2x xp is cool if you want to waste it lol.
