CoD Elite – MW3 Elite Free Features Announced
After a lot of confusion about which features of CoD Elite will be free in MW3, Activision have decided to set it straight and tell us the features that will be available for everyone for free.
Prepare for some good news – see the free features below.
Call of Duty MW3 Elite Features:
- Access Call of Duty Elite through various devices including the web, Android and iOS smartphones and tablets.
- Communicate with your friends via the web, your console and your mobile.
- Track thousands of statistics with your friends such as k/d ratio, score per minute, win %, streaks and much more – all presented in charts and info-graphics making them easy to understand.
- Make your own customized leaderboards to compete against your friends.
- View advanced heat maps displaying your match-by-match performance showing where and when you got killed.
- Analyze your performance with each specific weapon to help work out what weapon to use in every situation.
- Upload and share videos of all of your greatest kills with Elite’s theater mode.
- Customize your loadouts with your favorite weapons, attachments and perks.
- Find players with common interests or play-style to compete against.
- Make your own clans.
- Use Facebook to bring your friends directly to your game.
- Start tracking your complete Call of Duty Career – starting with Black Ops.
As you can see, thats not a bad list of free features at all. That should settle any concerns that players might have had about subscriptions. On top of that, Activision have also stated that the service will continue to evolve with new features being added in the future.
Activision have also announced that they will not be able to list out their premium features until closer to MW3 release. This is due to many features being deeply integrated into MW3 but they promise to continually demonstrate more of the premium features over the summer, right up until the official release.

I am an massive fan of CALL OF DUTY. I even pre-ordered mw3 a month or two ago but then i found out about elite and i have to say that it is very dissapointed that i have to pay to see my stats and to customize my gun which are free in every other cod game. i have to say i’ll be sticking with black ops and wait untill maybe mw4 or a different cod game.its ridiculous that you are making your fans pay after we just payed 60 euros or dollars for it. guess what….. FORGET IT…from every single cod fan
Dont worry eric.. All of these features here will be completely free. You wont have to pay a penny for them after purchasing MW3.
So you dont have to have elite to customize your gun and to see your stats..I seen in the features that you need it to create a clan but can you still have a clan next to your name like before
We’re not completely certain.. but it sounds as though Elite will be built into MW3 similar to how the player card is in Black Ops.
Elite will be free. And then you can also pay to add on extra features such as being able to enter prize tournaments.
I thought elite WAS the monthly sub service
Nope. You just have the monthly sub to add on a few extras.
ok i still dont wunt pay so if you do got to pay then im not going to buy it i hop your right cuz i already pre oder it!!
so ive just paid for elite for what? a few extra maps and aload of crap i dont need! i thought if you pay a monthly subscription then only the people paying should be able to enter, hence why i bought it, now your saying its free! what a scam! i am returning mine and waiting til treyarch come back on the scene. YOU CHEEKY TW#TS
