Call Of Duty Elite Confirmed for MW3
It has been announced this week by Activision that a whole new digital service will be released with MW3 called Call Of Duty Elite.
This seems to be why Beachhead Studios are involved with the development of Modern Warfare 3 as it was expected that they would create a digital delivery service.
But Call of Duty Elite will be a hell of a lot more than that.
This service will engage the community in three main ways:
Connect:
Call of Duty Elite will provide MW3 players with total control of their online experience, seeming much more like a social network. Players will be able to go up against friends or other players with similar skill levels or interests. You’ll be able to join groups or clans and then use them to take part in organised tournaments.
MW 3 Elite will then always be tracking various statistics including every players performance which you will then be able to analyse through your console, internet or even over your mobile. Who and how you play will completely change.
Compete:
Bringing Call of Duty games to a whole new level of competitiveness MW 3 Elite will bring a constant stream of events and tournaments by putting players into skill-based tiers and then challenging them against each other. There will then be prizes, both in-game and real-world, awarded to winners.
Improve:
With all of the information Elite will be gathering on every player, Elite Improve will be like your own personal coach – helping to train you from an amateur to a professional.
Players will be provided with dynamic strategy guides that will take into consideration each players strengths and weaknesses, showing where you’re slacking and dieing from the most. Or the locations where you are getting the most kills and the least deaths.
As you can see, Call of Duty Elite will completely change the way you play MW3. Activision have announced that the digital service has been tailored to help all kinds of players, from complete beginners to the hardcore gamers so no one should be left disappointed.
Some of Call of Duty Elite will come at a price though. They have said that there will a premium subscription for those who want some extra Elite features but this subscription will also provide players with at least free map-packs and exclusive in-game items. We do not yet know how much the subscription will cost, or which features will be exclusively available to premium members but as soon we find out we will keep you updated.
